November 4, 1979 was the birthdate of Shashi Naidoo. Her mother, Punji Naidoo, and father, Harry Naidoo, were there when she was born in Gqeberha, South Africa. She has a sister named Anthosh Naidoo and is rumored to be of Caucasian origin.

When Shashi Naidoo played Ziggy’s lover Linda McGinty in the E.TV serial opera Backstage in 2004, she became well-known. Soon after, she made a fleeting appearance in the soap opera Generations on SABC1. She also appeared in the 2007 miniseries Society in a minor role. She began presenting EMS Volume 1 on SABC1 with a partner on October 2, 2007.
