Career of Thai

Beginning with a production of Maru, Kabelo Thai began performing with community theatre groups that visited East Rand township schools.

Later, he joined Sibikwa Arts Centre before enrolling at the University of the Witwatersrand to study drama. In order to enhance the performing arts in the township, Kabelo is actively involved in a number of different community programmes. Since then, he has participated in a number of shows, including The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency (2008), For Love and Broken Bones (2016), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), and theatre. [2]

In addition to Yizo Yizo, Hard Copy, 4Play: Sex Tips for Girls, The Road, The Wild, and The Lab, he has made appearances in a number of other television shows.

From 2015 to 2016, he also appeared frequently as Lwazi in the e.tv drama series Umlilo. In the Mzansi Magic drama anthology series The Imposter in 2018, he played the lead character Turbo. [3]
