Early life

Siyabonga Mpontshane was born on the 1st of January 1986. He is 37 years old as of 2023. He was born in Ndumo, Ingavuma in South Africa. Siyabonga Mpontshane, often known as Marobha, has had a lifelong love of sports, particularly football, since a young age. He began his career as a member of Wits’ U19 team. He joined the National First Division of the Nathi Lions and performed well there as well because of his technique and skill. On August 29, 2010, he made his debut in a 3-2 victory over the Mpumalanga Black Aces. He started playing for the Platinum Stars that same year. After five years with the team, he was signed by the Orlando Pirates in 2015. [1]

Siyabonga attended High school at Ndimo high school.  He went to Deepdale at Deepkloof Zone 2 from  2003 to  2005. He studied at Mangosuthu University of Technology and  Durban university of Technology.
