Sipho was known on Uzalo for playing the role of Terror and others knew him in Rhythm City playing the role of Raymond. The actor died in April 2020 from pulmonary hypertension and his fans were saddened. According to several reports this pulmonary hypertension contributed to his heart failure which led to his death at Johannesburg hospital. [1]

Number 2 is Patrick Shai

The South African actor and director Patrick Shai was known on Uzalo for portraying the role of a GBV activist on the drama. This role was shown on the drama after his passing and most fans were moved by his passion to be part of activism in the drama. Patrick died in January of 2022 after he committed suicide by hanging himself in the garage.

This one come as a surprise to many as they never saw Mncedisi Shabangu on Uzalo but, when he died he was set to play the role of Gabisile’s lover and the new villain Mthambisi Phakathi in Uzalo. Mncedisi died on 23 July 2022 at his home in Mpumalanga after suffering from stomach pains. [3]
