In case you didn’t notice Mapula Mafole has a new boyfriend who she has been so proud about. The name of her boyfriend is Phila Dlozi and they love each other very much. Their new relationship began in 2022 and for the first time ever, the public and Mapula’s fans had to hear Mapula announcing her boyfriend on social media. We don’t know if Mapula has been in other relationships before but we definitely know she is currently in love.

Who is Mapula Mafole’s boyfriend “Phila Dlozi”?

Phila Dlozi is an indigenous singer, poet and drummer from Kwasokhulu in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal set to be released later this year. He is 24 years old in 2023. He believes that he can heal the nation through music, a gift and calling he believes he was given by his ancestors. Phila started doing music when he joined a gospel A Capella group back in high school from Umlazi, Durban.

After that he relocated to Randburg, Johannesburg where he performed on the streets for a living. He was discovered by DJ Maphorisa who assisted him to be signed by Sony Music Record Label. He released is first EP through the same record label and he is looking forward to a successful career.

“I began as a street performer in Durban before relocating to Johannesburg in search of greater chances. I was homeless for a few months until I met my manager, who introduced me to DJ Maphorisa through a tweet, said Phila.

Did you know that Mapula is older than her boyfriend Phila. Yes, that’s how it is. Mapula is 33 years old in 2023 and her boyfriend is 24 years old, this means that Mapula is 9 years older than her boyfriend. She is almost 10 years older than her boyfriend but the good thing is love knows know age and the couple looks good together despite their age difference.
