Wayne Van Rooyen who plays the role of Stokkies on Scandal (Etv drama series), is a South African born actor. He is well known for acting Stokkies on Scandal and Brandon “BB” Bonthuys on SABC2 medical drama series Hillside.
He is such an interesting but cunning character on the etv telenovela where he acts as an ex-convict who is willing to live right but sometimes fall back to his old life.

Wayne Van Rooyen, born 14 June 1978, is a South African actor who is well known for acting Stokkies on Scandal etv. He grew up in Eldoradopark in Gauteng and he attended Saint Barnabas College (1991-1997) in Johannesburg. The television actor studied at the University of the Witwatersrand Drama Department. And he graduated in 2003 with a BA Dramatic Art with Honours.

This includes ‘Sophiatown,’ ‘The King of Laughter,’ for which he won the Naledi for Best Supporting Actor, the world premiere of Athol Fugard’s ‘Victory,’ and the Royal Shakespeare Company’s South African collaboration of William Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest,’ with the Baxter Theatre.
The actor was previously known for acting as Brandon “BB” Bonthuys on SABC2 medical drama series Hillside. But now he is known for playing Stokkies, on Scandal, who is an ex-convict. Stokkies is a character that can do anything cunning for money but being cautious not to be criminalized. He the manager of Ques-Launch on the drama series which helps him to remain out of crime ever since jail time.
