Early life and childhood of Londeka Sishi

Actress Londeka Sishi who was born and bred in Port Shepstone KwaZulu Natal province, South Africa is among the rising stars today. She is the middle of seven children with three older siblings and three younger ones. Her mother is a pastor and very strict but nothing is known yet about her father.

Out of all her siblings, the actor explains that she was raised by her great-great-grandmother who was instrumental in who she is as a creative artist.

She doesn’t understand why she is the only one amongst her siblings who had to be raised by her great-grandmother. But after all, she said she had a great childhood and adopted some good qualities from her great-grandmother.

When she was in grade 3, she moved in with her mother which she said was a huge adjustment for her. She had to start bonding with her mother whom her siblings had bonded with already. She also moved to a multi-racial school where she had to adapt to speak English with white learners.

Actress Londeka Sishi made her debut appearance on television drama in 2023 on Showmax’s drama Adulting.

She played the role of played the role of Nkanyezi, Bonga Tembe’s love interest which was played by The River actor Thembinkosi Mthembu. Part of her role was shooting nude scenes that allowed Sishi to explore her risqué side as an actor.

In 2024 she landed another big role on etv Scandal where she played the role of Busisiwe. Her character is a smart and sassy lady who is Nhloso Gasa’s ex mistress. She does her best to get back together with him.
