In 2006, this self-described “adventure freak” appeared on the reality series Fear Factor for the first time. She overcame her anxiety by performing well against 19 other competitors to place second among the remaining female competitors and advance to the top 4.
She then decided to pursue her passion and earn her certification as a Sport and Exercise Technologist with a focus on biokinetics. Letshego is an enthusiastic runner and cyclist who has won a number of races, including the Ironman 70.3 Triathlon in East London in January 2011, the Two Oceans Ultra Marathon, the Cape Argus Cycle Tour, the 94.7 Cycle Challenge, and the Cradle Quest Mountain Bike 3-day stage race. Her passion for cycling and running brought her and nine other South Africans together in 2010 to swim, ride, and run over 2000 kilometers in an effort to raise money for the impoverished kids of Pennyville, Soweto.

Letshego Zulu wrote a book detailing her life during the previous several years, which was published three years after the passing of her husband, race car driver Gugu Zulu.
Letshego claims that the book, I Choose To Live – Life After Losing Gugu, is “99% complete” and will be available for purchase in July.

Letshego was married to the late Gugulethu Zulu. Gugu Zulu was a South African racing driver. On July 18, 2016, Gugu passed away while climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. Many people celebrated Mandela Day all throughout the world, but Letshego had an emotional rollercoaster on the day.
Six years have passed since the beloved race driver Gugu Zulu passed away on July 18, and Letshego, his wife, has recounted her day’s activities. She said she chose to be happy, something she never would have thought possible in 2016. Together they have a daughter. [3]
