Rumors about Hungani Ndlovu (famously known as Romeo) returning to Scandal after salary increment has spread all over social media.
These rumors initiated after Facebook publications which claims hungani Ndlovu has agreed to return to the show after being offered an increase in salary. The publication claimed that his salary has been increased to about R85 000.00 to R100 000.00 which would make Hungani the highest paid actor on Scandal and in South Africa at large.
The Facebook Celebrity publication wrote;
Guess who’s returning to Scandal! Sooner than we expected, Scandal! has officially offered Hungani Ndlovu R85 000 to R100 000 to return to the show, making him one of the highest paid actors in SA,” Mzansi Celeb News.
Unfortunately, Scandal has denied all these claims about Hungani Ndlovu returning to the show because he has received an increase in salary. One of the producers of Scandal Sanele Ndlovu told Daily Sun that these were all false News pertaining Mr Ndlovu:
“Any rumours regarding Hungani Ndlovu either resigning or returning to Scandal! due to salary issues are false,” said Sanele.
“Last year, Hungani requested to go on leave for personal reasons which have no bearing on Scandal! whatsoever. Our relationship with Hungani has always been extremely positive and remains so until so to this day.” He continued responding to the false claims.
This is the second time that false rumours are spread about the actor’s position on Scandal.
Last year in November, the actor was reported to have been fired on the show due to lack of respect and misbehaving while other claims said that the actor wanted more pay. Of which Scandal responded denying those claims.
In statement, the producers of the show said: “The channel, together with Orche Media, refute the claims that Hungani was fired for bad behaviour on the show, nor had his character, Romeo, been killed off.
“We have the highest regard of Hungani’s professionalism and humility as an artist. He has always behaved with utmost respect towards his employers and colleagues.”
From these statements its quite clear that a possibility of Hungani returning to the show are high but its not known when since there is no clear reason why he has not been shown on the show. The producers are not transparent pertaining the situation surrounding the actor and his relationship with Scandal.
