Early life of Ntandazo Peter

Ntandazo Christiaan Peter was born in a small town of Robertson, Western Cape Province in South Africa in 1998. He later moved to the capital city of Western Cape Province, Cape Town to pursue his studies. As a child, Ntandazo participated in a local Youth Development programme and volunteered in his school, inspiring his peers to pursue their aspirations. He always wanted to become an actor and even began professional acting at the age of six.

He studied at City Varsity. Then he graduated from City Varsity with a Diploma in Professional Acting for Camera in 2020.

In his early stage growing up when he was Six years old in 2004, he was granted an opportunity to work in one of Nicholas Cage’s Feature Film, Lord of War (2005), Directed by Nicholas Andrew  which was shot in various rural areas in South Africa which Robertson Airfield became one of the shooting Locations.

In 2020 after graduating from City Varsity, Ntandazo landed a supporting role in Signal High season 2 playing the character of  Lonwabo Gumede, which was Premiered on a leading television program in the country (South Africa) on SABC2. He also worked with other prominent actors as his mentors such as Bongi Matsai, Thami Akambongo and many others. In 2021 he landed his first big role in television, playing Lefa Molefe in Generations: the legacy, SABC1 drama series making his debut appearance on the 30th of July 2021.

In February 2022 he landed a starring role in Mzansi Magic film called Uppercut playing alongside Katlego Matsekane, Thato Moeng and Thato Mokoena. [ ¹]
