In the SABC1 miniseries Entabeni (2008), which was a part of the network’s “Shakespeare in Mzansi” strand, Khulu played the lead character Kumkani. His breakthrough came when he was cast in the major motion picture Jerusalema. He has also appeared in 48, Zama Zama, Sniper Reloaded, Skin, and Invictus, among other movies. From July to August 2008, he portrayed Mandla in the SABC2 miniseries Noah’s Ark. Despite his emphatic denials, the Scandal! actor allegedly paid lobola for his approximately two-year lover Kholeka Nxumalo in June, according to insiders. There are rumors that Khulu (42) and Kholeka are expecting a child together.In 2020, he divorced the actress Mona Monyane.
