After punching fellow Dancehall star Seh Calaz during a match in Harare in 2013, Qounfuzed once found himself under police investigation. This was in the midst of his critical and commercial success as well as the controversy created by some of his songs. Seh Calaz was attacked by Qounfuzed after one of his ex-girlfriends’ nude photos surfaced; however, Calaz subsequently dropped the claims after claiming there had been a misunderstanding. After dropping the accusations, Seh Calaz, together with his Bhanditi clique, went back to Qounfuzed to exact revenge because he was unhappy with his choice. They ended up cutting off some of Qounfuzed’s dreadlocks and using golf clubs and baseball bats. Seh Calaz and his team cut off his dreadlocks, and Qounfuzed went on. [3]
