Jeffrey Sekele, born on 20 August 1973 (age – 47), is a South African actor best known for playing Paul Mmarabele on 90 Plein Street and is currently playing the role of Isaac on House of Zwide on etv.

Jeffrey Sekele was born on 20 August 1973 in Leeufontein, near Marble Hall in Limpopo Province, South Africa. He was born to a mother who was a domestic worker and his father was a security guard. Growing up, Jeffrey’s aspiration and dream was to become a lawyer. He is also passionate about writing and wanted to be an author but his parents were against it.
Jeffrey has got a soft side
Though Jeffrey is known for playing villainous characters and tough guys he has got a soft side in real life. He is a traditionally married man with two children, a boy and a girl. The star balances work and family, and say his family is the reason he wakes up. The star said acting was never part of the plan since he is shy but he wanted to become a lawyer or a writer. ¹

Jeffrey Sekele started his professional acting career in 1999. After that he made television appearances on quite a number of tv shows including Gaz’lam, Heartlines, Soul Buddyz, Jozi-H, Unsung Heroes, Muvhango, Strike Back, Jacob’s Cross and End Game. He acted on featured film of Jerusalem and the thriller 48 as Fistaz Mphahlele, a dangerous thug and a member of a powerful bank robbery gang.
He had a starring role on Mzansi Magic television Isibaya as Blade, Bhekifa’s right hand man who is street-smart and connected with powerful underworld figures from a stint in prison. The star has worked on Thobela FM, KPMG, Fedsure and made commercials for Sasol, Woolworths, SABC Sport, Vodacom and ABSA.
Playing Isaac on House of Zwide
In 2021 Jeffrey landed a role of playing Isaac on House of Zwide. Isaac is our sympathetic transformed gangster. At the age of 16, he was already earning himself a reputation for being fearless and courageous in the face of danger. Isaac’s main desire is to keep Ona (played by Nefisa Mkhabela)from discovering the truth about who her father is, and we understand why he’s defined by his love for her.²
