Maseko is known for her role as Mbali on The river produced by the fergusons film productions. This was her first TV debut and currently she plays Sindi Phakhathwayo on SABC 3’s The Estate.

Early life of Zenokuhle Maseko
Zenokuhle Maseko was born on the 7th of February in Benoni, Gauteng province in South Africa. She is an actor and model who happens to be very smart. Maseko attended Benoni High School in Benoni. She was excelling and wanted to be Biochemist later in life.
Zenokuhle has 12 sibling unbeknownst to the public. However, it is known that Zenokuhle’s mother Nokuthula Ngcobo is an accountant and her father Sifiso Maseko a doctor. She really came from green pastures. When she finished school, she applied at University of Pretoria to study biochemistry.
And was excelling very well until she got an epiphany. Zenokuhle realized that as much as she loved biochemistry, she didn’t see herself wearing a white coat and going to the lab on a daily. This was not the life she wanted. With the support of her mother she dropped out from the course and joined Fashion media. She enrolled at the Lisof Fashion Media school to study fashion media.

Career begginnings
Zenokuhle Maseko is a self-acclaimed introvertive person. In fact, she didn’t think the acting career was going to be a success due to that. However, her mother was always on her side and told her to pursue it as long as it made her happy. When she went for the auditions after Andile had contacted her on Instagram, she did not think she was going to be picked. But, to her surprise, the audition went well. That’s when she got the role of Mbali and things took off from there.
According to Zenokuhle, the actors were so kind and she was having a lot of fun there. In fact, it felt like home at work. This shows how much she enjoyed her job. However, her character was short lived as the character was killed off and she had to say goodbye to her other family she had grown inlove with.
Zenokuhle Maseko is currently playing the role of Sindi Phakhathwayo on The Estate on SABC 3. She spoke about the role saying it was a growing journey and a new experience as the character deviates from her previous Mbali character on The river.
Zeno is working with big heads such as Clementine Mosimane whom she says inspires her to grow. Speaking on the character she plays, Zenokuhle said that it was a challenge and she wasn’t up to bar but believes she will grow into it.[1]
