Complications with the surgery leave Funani fearing his decision might have cost his mother’s life. Ona and Shoki patch things up before Kwanele shocks Shoki with her latest brainwave to make money. Nomsa gives Soka an ultimatum.

As MaZwide fights for her life the family gets a surprise visit from De Villiers which leaves Nkosi exposed. Soka decides to move out and Nomsa fears her sister has resorted to the most desperate means to make money.

Ma Zwide returns home and ends up meeting someone unexpected. Shoki lies yet again to cover her tracks but the lie backfires. Nomsa confronts De Villiers about her severance and makes a surprising choice.
