Amanda Manku, born on 09 August 1991 (age – 30), is a South African actress and television presenter well known for playing Elizabeth on Skeem Saam, for presenting the SABC education youth series Metrics Uploaded and for YoTV.

Amanda Manku (born as Magalane Amanda Dimakatso Manku) was born on 09 August 1991 in Limpopo Province, South Africa. She was raised in Newlands in Johannesburg and she is the eldest daughter of five children of her parents. Growing up, Manku dreamt of being in media industry and first appeared on Soweto TV as host. She landed roles of a television presenter on YoTV, Matrics Uploaded and the morning educational show Geleza Nathi.

Amanda Manku studied Motion pictures at AFDA (a South African School of Motion Picture Medium and Live Performance) and graduated with Bachelor’s degree.
Acting career
In her final year of studying at AFDA in 2013 she landed a debut role on Skeem Saam as Elizabeth from season 2 to season 10. The character she portrays is Principal Thobakgale’s daughter (portrayed by Elizabeth Serunye). She has appeared on iKhaya as Mosima from season 1 to season 2.
