Mxolisi Masango, born on 21 December 1989 (age – 32), is a South African actor, journalist and presenter well known for playing his geek character Zach on Generations the Legacy. He had roles as Leo on Isithembiso season 1 and season 2.

Television career of Mxolisi Masango
Mxolisi began his career in entertainment industry as a dancer, joining Phly Boys at the age of 18. He then won an audition to be the puppeteer and manager of the 2010 FIFA World Cup mascot Zakumi.
From 2011, Mxolisi worked as current affairs journalist and anchor for radio stations such as Arise TV in London, the Turkish channel TRT, YFM and ANN7. He has also hosted SABC1 shows such as Sunday Live and Expression. ¹
Acting career of Mxolisi
In 2012 Mxolisi landed a role as presenter Spoke on the third season of the SABC1 youth drama series Tshisa. In 2013 he had a starring role on Mzansi Magic mini drama series of IsiPantsula. The drama series revolved around a disillusioned ex-Pantsula dancer who runs his uncle’s spaza.
By 2016 he land himself a role on Generations the Legacy as computer genius by the name of Zach. On 9 February 2017, Mxolisi began co-hosting the SABC 1 youth current affairs talk show called Expressions. His other roles were on Isithembiso season 1 to 3 as Leo, a Creepy Assistant on Unmarried season 2 and on Tshisa season 3.
