CAPS United FC
In 2010, Billiat made his CAPS United FC debut under head coach Lloyd Chitembwe. At Rufaro Stadium, he played for just fifteen minutes before moving to South Africa. He worked with the Harare Giants for three months. [2]
Ajax Cape Town
In August 2010, Billiat made his professional debut for Ajax Cape Town against Mamelodi Sundowns in a quarterfinal 2010 MTN 8 tournament match at Athlone Stadium in Cape Town. After a 1-1 draw, Ajax Cape Town won 4-3 on penalties. Only three months after the club had recruited him from Aces Youth Soccer Academy in Harare, he was acquired by Ajax Cape Town as a move from CAPS United, a Zimbabwean soccer team, in the summer of 2010. Zimbabwe has been represented by Billiat at several youth levels. Subsequently, he made multiple appearances for the Zimbabwe national team in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualification matches and other scheduled friendlies, solidifying his position as a regular starter in the Warriors’ offensive midfield. On March 26, 2011, he made his senior debut against Mali in a 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier. Billiat scored his first goal for Zimbabwe in a friendly game against Zambia later that year, in August. Billiat participated in the 2017 African Cup of Nations as a player for the Zimbabwe national team.
Billiat was selected as Zimbabwe’s captain for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification match against South Africa in November 2021. And following his final game in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers 2022 against Ethiopia, he announced his retirement from international football. [3]
