Sikelelwa Vuyeleni was born on 26 August 1998 in Cape Town, Western Cape in South Africa then two years later went to stay in the Eastern Cape. After six year in Eastern Cape, Sikelelwa returned home in Cape Town where she had her whole childhood. According to Sikelelwa, her parents never stayed in one place, she would change schools before she get used to her school mates, this made her to be very adaptive to change.

Acting Career
Sikelelwa started her acting career while she was yet to complete her Film and Video arts degree. She got her first professional role on the e.tv drama, Traffic 1 season 1 with the help of her high school teachers. And since then she has appeared on Mzansi Magic shows such as Isikizi, Umalume, Ukuphila Kabili and Ingozi yothando. She also starred on Moja Love’s first Telenovela Hope as Thando which was one of the lead roles on the show.

Sikelelwa Vuyeleni is a product of unwanted teenage pregnancy but she did not allow this to define her. She believes that education is important for one to have a strong backbone in acting industry. The star would like to own her own production company just like the Fergusons.
