Lehlohonolo Saint Seseli was born on 5 March 1973 in Johannesburg, Gauteng Province in South Africa. He is Mosotho of Zulu birth and was raised in the township of Soweto. He is the fourth child and last born of his parents currently not yet known by their names or occupations.

He attended Sacred Heart College and matriculated from Damelin College in 1990. After that he completed a National Diploma in Marketing & Sales Management at Technikon Northern Gauteng in 1991-1992, and a Marketing and Business Management diploma at Damelin the following year. In 2011 he furthered his studies and obtained a National Diploma in Marketing Management from Unisa.

As a man with a Diploma in Marketing & Sales Management, and Marketing and Business Management diploma he worked as a marketer, salesman and various other positions.

Saint worked in a number of capacities for a range of companies during his years in the corporate world. He worked for the Edgars Group as a department supervisor, for a cigarette firm as a sales representative, for Multichoice as a customer service consultant, and for Universal Music Group, Ster-Kinekor, the Windybrow Theatre, and for EMI Music South Africa as a marketing manager.

Saint also started four companies: the Marung Restaurant in Carlton Centre in Johannesburg (2004), Lefatshe Landscapes in Soweto (2006), Tseleng Marketing and Design in Pretoria (2008), and The Human Palette Training Consultancy in Johannesburg (2010). In 2008 he started and implemented the the Soweto Bike Show in collaboration with Bike SA Magazine. This was a first of its kind world class motorcycle expo in a township.

As an actor Saint has appeared on numerous television serials and movies alongside many famous actors and actresses. In 1987 he made his debut appearance in television acting alongside Hlomla Dandala in the 26th episode of the educational show of Moving On Again. He starred in several drama serials including Home Affairs playing the role of Bongani, he portrayed Prince Tebeila on Skeem Saam season four and acted as Isaac on Is’phindiselo from season 1 to season 2.[1]

Seseli has got more than three decades since he debuted in the television and film industry. His other television serials where he appeared include Zero Tolerance, Skeem Saam, Soul City, Backstage, eKasi: Our Stories, isiBaya, High Rollers, Entabeni, Ashes to Ashes, Ihawu, The Queen, My Perfect Family, Jacob’s Cross, Task Force, Sokhulu & Partners and Roer Jou Voete.

In 20221 he went back to basics when he was casted on a theatre production called A Better Life. Before end of 2021 he was casted on Hlomu The Wife as the father of Hlomu (by Mbalenhle Mavimbela) and Langa (by Linda Majola) by the name of Bab’Dladla who isn’t afraid to put Mqhele in his place after he raises his hand to his daughter. The film was based on prodigal daughter Tumi who goes home for the holidays and manages to ruin her sister’s wedding plans. Who had to find ways to make things right before it’s too late.

In 2008 he appeared on Skin starred by Sophie Okonedo as Sandra Laing and Sam Neill as Abraham Laing. The story was about a black girl who was born to two white Afrikaner parents in South Africa during the apartheid era which was based on true story. Then in 2018 he played Captain Letebele alongside Lorraine Moropa, Nathaniel Ramabulana as Bishop Abel and Letuka Dlamini on Hope.
