Patrick Mofokeng was born on 15 June 1969 in Cape Town, South Africa. This means he is 52 years old. He is a married man. He moved from Cape Town to Johannesburg as he got more opportunities in acting. Later on he returned to Cape Town where he stayed.

His Acting journey

He has got a Diploma in Drama and Speech. Most people knows this Actor from Scandal, a soapie which is being aired 19:30 every week days on e.tv. On scandal, he acted as Mlungisi, a very serious man who didn’t take nonsense from his kids. He loved to be respected by his wife and family. Recently we saw Mlungisi’s wife and daughter get arrested for fraud due to Lindiwe’s (by Nomvelo Makhanya) boyfriend who was a cornman.

All this happened without Mlungisi knowing about it, what a betrayal. His life ended after he his feud with his son in law had escalated. He fell on a rock and died while trying to beat his son in law Nhlamulo (by Matthews RatsumaMatthews Rantsuma).

Most people knows Patrick Mofokeng from different sopies, series and movies or films. He was featured in Jackie Chan movie as a village Hunter in “Who am I” movie. In 2021 Mofokeng left Scandal to join 1Magic drama Lingashoni. He was to play Mr Mandla Cele alongside Lerato Nxumalo. His role is that of a poverty-stricken farm worker who returns to his former life as a high-flying businessman after a decade-long memory loss.

After witnessing a murder by a prominent politician – Joburg Mayor Robert Nondumo [Luzuko Nkqeto], monied ‘tenderpreneur’ Mandla Cele [Patrick Mofokeng] goes on the run before surviving a murder from a close family member, which led to his memory loss.
