Mangaliso’s acting career started in 2022 when she landed a role on Showmax comedy drama “One Weeks”. On One Weeks, Mangaliso plays the role of Angie who is also known as Frozen or Woolies. She is acting along some big names in the industry including Zakhele Mabasa and Sihle Ndaba.

Mangaliso Aluta Mthembu found out about Showmax drama One Weeks from her mother. This happened in 2022 which means she has been adapting to One Weeks storylines for two years.

“In 2022, my mum told me that there was this show that required a child, so she and I took action and did a video audition which was sent to production.

“After a few weeks, I was informed that I got the role. I was so excited! Fast-forward to December 2023 and we started filming. The rest, as they say, is history.”

Speaking about her new plans, Mangaliso said she wants to be a reality TV star. “After ‘One Weeks’, I’d like to either be on a kids’ reality show or maybe play the role of a gangster’s child,” said Mangaliso Mthembu.
