Early life of Lesege Mnyandu
He was born on September 10th, 1999, and dropped out of school later in his academic experience (particularly, grade 11) to focus on his music career. He began his career as a rap artist on the streets of Katlehong, where he grew up, and then joined Ambitiouz Entertainment in 2017.
Flvme and A-reece
Flvme gained notoriety after appearing on AReece’s hit “Feelings,” and went on to become one of South Africa’s most prominent new school rappers. Later, the musician departed Ambitiouz Entertainment to join The Wrecking Crew, a new label (TWC). However, in March 2019, he quit TWC to start his own record company.
How Flvme came into the light in 2016
When Flvme and Emtee clashed on Twitter, the consequence of a feud that dates back to 2016, the most common question among Emtee’s admirers was, “Who is Flvme?”
Flvme has created a following and carved a path as one of the country’s most brilliant and industrious artists as one of the new wave’s important characters. CandyMan, his brilliant debut album, was nominated for two South African Hip Hop Awards in 2019: Best Male and Best Newcomer.

Criticisms and acclaim
On 2017’s “Meanwhile in Honeydew,” the former member of The Wrecking Crew was immortalized by his then-close friend A-Reece (“Flvme in the car, he a lot/ K1 already on lock”), the former member of The Wrecking Crew has since developed and become a titan of some sort in the skreets. Da L.E.S, AKA, A-Reece, Nasty C, Blxckie, Zoocci Coke Dope, and a slew of other collaborators are enough to make a skeptic pay attention: Da L.E.S, AKA, A-Reece, Nasty C, Blxckie, Zoocci Coke Dope, and a slew of others.

Flvme was first chastised for his similarity to Travis Scott’s style (the fact that he went by the name La Flvme didn’t help either).
The Kathlehong rapper exemplifies modern South African hip-hop, with a major American influence, a cult following, and a large volume of releases.
