Early life and Education

She relocated to Polokwane when she was barely six years old to attend a boarding school, and that is all that is known about her early years. She attended Capricon High. She participated heavily in public speaking and debate throughout her time in high school, which may have inspired her to seek a career in media.

Also, she participated in the Model UN, which introduced her to the field of diplomacy and international affairs. She attended Wits University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations. We don’t know if Cathy Mohlahlana has a boyfriend or if she’s married. Cathy started off as a radio host and web copywriter. She was found by Radio 702 at the end of her first year at Wits University. She began her career by working as a reporter and radio host for Kaya FM and Radio 702’s Eyewitness News. She spent a few years reporting on important national problems for eNCA (eNews Channel Africa). Is eNCA still employing Cathy Mohlahlana? No. Along with Thulasizwe Simelane, she departed eNCA in March of last year (DStv Channel 403). The eNCA anchors’ departure from the channel is still an enigma. The 29th of March 2019 marked Simelane and Cathy’s final day on the channel.
