Bukamina Fanele Cebekhulu, born on 31 July 1985, is a South African Celebrity well known for playing Gugu on Muvhango. She is from Ndabayakhe Village in Emphangeni, kWAZulu Natal. Bukamina calls herself a village girl who was born to hardworking parents.
Her father Mandlenkosi is a bus driver and her mother Thulakele takes care of the household. In her childhood, Bukamina was very shy that she would hide behind her mom when she sees strangers until she was comfortable.[1]

In 2008, she moved to Johannesburg to further her studies. The actress studied live performance and motion picture acting at AFDA and she graduated in 2010/2011.[2]
Acting areer of Bukamina Cebekhulu
Bukamina is well known as Gugu from Muvhango but she is also a singer.
Even though Bukamina Cebekhulu had educational background in acting related studies, and her first love being acting, she had to find a job. So, she worked at ATTV as secretary. Three months later she moved into production as an assistant. She also joined Stemberg Television (Noot vir Noot) and became a production co-ordinator at Gospel Classic. Later on the actress joined Uzalo which plays on SABC1.

She had small roles on two shows prior to working on Muvhango namely; iNkaba and SABC1’s Duma Ndlovu drama Ingozi, which led her to the role of Gugu. The Gugu character was introduced as Imani’s (Zonke Mchunu)cousin. She was supposed to be on the screen for three months but fans loved her so much that she had to stay. Bukamina Cebekhulu has shown great talent on Muvhango and has become one of the face of the Show. Her unique trademark is her Chiskop, which she said suit the Gugu character.
In 2016, the Chiskop Muvhango actress was the co-ordinator of “The Lion King”. She also became the floor manager for “THE WORDS AND NUMBERS” for three years. In an interview with the Daily Sun, the actress said that working behind the scene will teach you respect.

Bukamina believes that young people must be proud of where they come from.
