Bohang was born on 13 April 1988 in Protea North, Soweto. He is well known for the roles in the films and television serials: Seriously Single, The Hot Zone and Housekeepers. The actor got married to his long term girlfriend Shanty on the 25th of March 2021.
2. Studied Quantity Surveying but chose acting as career
The ‘Seriously Single’ television series actor studied Quantity Surveying at the University of Free State. And graduated with honours degree. He worked for two years as Quantity Surveyor in Durban after leaving Bloemfontein. But Bohang was not passionate about the job, he was yearning for something else. So, Bohang Moeko started acting classes with a Joburg acting agent who advised him to move away from Durban to Johannesburg.
3. Bohang Moeko got his first acting gig in 2013
So, the Soweto born actor, Bohang Moeko relocated to Johannesburg. But things did not work out as quickly as he wanted. In 2013, he got his first acting gig as Victor on Zabalaza.
4. Declined playing gay character
Bohang acted on different TV serials drama including on Scandal where he acted as Tshepo, a gay market manager who was inlove with Qcumane Langa (real name: Ayanda Dawetu). But when he was approached by another production company to act as a gay, he declined not because there was something wrong with being gay but because the story was very similar to that of Tshepo on Scandal.
5. He wants to be seen beyond pretty face
Bohang wants to prove that his not just a pretty face. He wants to be seen beyond his looks and body but he wants people to see the actor. He has acted as nice guy now he wants to act as jerk.
