Season 22 kicks off with major changes at Binneland. Thalia faces a difficult new challenge at work, while Katryn uncovers evidence suggesting Ella has been unfaithful. Tracy and Tertius also clash over Leah, and the shareholders make an important decision regarding the co-head position at Ongevalle.

Dewald refuses to back down despite resistance around him, while Uys notices something suspicious. Joe, meanwhile, finds himself overwhelmed after being thrown in at the deep end.

Thalia struggles to hide her fascination with Binneland’s new doctor. Tracy finally sets boundaries concerning Leah, while Hannah asks Nicolette for something that seems nearly impossible.

Ella feels guilty for using Tracy, but Johan convinces her she has done nothing wrong. Dewald later meets Liv and is surprised when she resists his charm. Uys also realises how deeply Nicolette misses working in the operating room.

Bonnie grows closer to a patient who introduces her to a website where he shared his personal story. Johan later tells Tertius something so shocking that Tracy is left speechless.

Conrad and Johan both try to influence the board ahead of a crucial meeting. Bonnie sends a message on an online chat site, while Henry reaches a decision about Dewald’s future.

Conrad’s situation worsens as At places more trust in Johan. Henry unexpectedly changes his mind, and Bonnie struggles to feel excited about an upcoming romantic date.

In the final episode of the month, Le Roux is admitted to Binneland and receives an unexpected diagnosis. Hannah finally confides in Naomi about what has been troubling her, while Bonnie opens up to “Surferdude” about a possible romantic date with a friend.
