Ever since Qamata was a child. She always dreamed of appearing on the Adidas Glamour magazine cover. So about 8 months ago in November 2021. Ama was featured as the cover of Glamour magazine. The cover was titled 17 questions with Ama Qamata. In which they asked her 17 questions as they photographed her for the cover.

Some of the things she shared was her gratitude towards her supportive family and her faith. Saying that her faith was one of the main contributors to her success. She also added that she was inspired by how well Africa is contributing to the entertainment industry on a global level.

In the cover, she also exposes that she doesn’t cook. Yes, Qamata is not into pots. Not at all. It is however ironic that her hidden talent is making pancakes. This is more of a secret skill she learnt as a result of her parents forcing her to get a job at 15 after she had broken her phone. Her parents had refused to fix it and forced her to work for the cash to buy another one. So she got a job where she made pancakes.

According to Ama Qamata, affirmations work. This was in response to a question on what had really brought her successs to life. She said her supportive family and affirmations. In fact Qamata said that she had made affirmations on appearing on the Glamour cover before. And this was just God answering her prayers. The cover shoot was in partnership with Adidas. Qamata said that she had prayed for it and when the opportunity came, she couldn’t believe it.

What would Ama tell her younger self?

Well, when asked about what she would tell to her younger self. Ama said that she would tell her 16 year old self to just keep on believing. To never give up and to not stress very much because things would eventually work out. As she recalled that she tried too hard to fit in by putting too much pressure on herself.

Furthermore, she added that appearing on the Glamour magazine cover was always her dream. She always dreamt of it. And for her that was the actual meaning of the adage “impossible is nothing”. She had done something she thought was impossible as a child.
