Thuli Thabethe, born 5 April 1985 (age – 37), is a South African actress well known for Phumzile on City Ses’la. She is a Golden Horn Award winner for Best Actress in a Comedy at the 2009 SAFTAs.

Thuli Thabethe was born in South Africa as Nokuthula Thabethe on 5 April 1985. She is related to Yvonne Chakachaka which is why they look alike. Her mother is a teacher thus she would achieve higher grades at school. She has also developed love for teaching taking after her mother.
During Lockdown she took part in #celebritiesAreNotTeachers, a programme hosted by educational department in which celebrities offered lessons to children. The star Thuli, was once engaged to Thabo Molefi (Radio Dj) with whom she has a baby boy with but the engagement was called off in 2010 and they’re no longer together but they’re co-parenting their son.
