Otto Nobela was born on the 4th of December in 1993. Making him 29 years old as of January 2023. Meaning he is turning 30 later this year. While we don’t know where Otto Nobela was born. On his Facebook he revealed that he also studied Theatre at the South African State Theatre presumably in Pretoria where he’s from.

How he got into acting

The 29-year-old Otto Nobela fell in love with acting in high school. Through a friend she had a crush on. The girl would always tell him that she was going for rehearsals. Of which at the time, Nobela had no clue what that was.

However, it was only after he had accompanied her to one of the rehearsals that he got hooked and fell in love with acting.

“When I got there, I found a group of guys who were in a community-based production. I was sold in what they were doing,” said Nobela.

Furthermore, Nobela attended many workshops to better his craft before he was spotted by Duma Ndlovu. Who then offered him an opportunity to also attend some of his workshops.

“I later found myself in theatre where I did another two-year development programme. Basically I received all my training at the South African State Theatre. I eventually got lucky and found myself being picked for the movie Matwetwe,” he said. [3]
