Mike Ndlangamandla was born on 8 July 1990. He is a 31-year-old South African actor well known for playing Dr Lindelani on Durban Gen, Teboho on Isipho and Pastor Max on Muvhango.

Growing up and education
He was born and raised in Piet Retief in Mpumalanga province. Growing up, Mike’s late father used to tell him a Zulu folktale about a rabit who outwit a lion step by step until it ties the lion by its tail to the roof. By so doing, the rabit escaped to be eaten. What Mike learnt from the folktale was that life is about being smart and having a strategy.
The Durban Gen star also learnt that small can punch above its weight, that where you start is not necessarily where you finish and that he too needed a strategy. After visiting SABC at the age of 18 and realizing that actors were just normal people, he joined a casting agency before studying at the DNA academy at Johannesburg Theatre to follow his acting dream.
Mike’s acting career
Mike Ndlangamandla played as Pastor Max on SABC 2 Drama Muvhango. He was playing a character of a pastor who fall in love with her old friend Gugu (played by Bukamina Cebekhulu) and dump his fiancé to marry Gugu, however it didn’t ends well as Gugu dumped him.

In 2019, Mike also had another role on a sci-fi telenovela Isipho, an etv drama, he played as Teboho. Then in 2020, he auditioned for Dr Lindelani on Durban Gen. He did the auditions via self tape just like other actors such as Lerato Nxumalo because it was during national lockdown.
Mike loves Gyming
Our favorite actor, Mike, is into gyming or exersicing or bodybuilding. The star do a lot of exercise when he is not on set. Mike claims that gyming helped him to lend a role on South Africa’s favorite local soapie.
“If I am not on set, I go to my local gym twice a day, otherwise I go once a day, at least five days a week.” He said.
