Kayise Ngqula is a South African actress best known for her role as Portia in the SABC1 drama series Mina Nawe. It was her first starring acting role. But, more recently she can be seen playing Nelisiwe on Isono. In this article we will detail her life.

Early life of Kayise Ngqula
Kayise Ngqula was born in East London, and she grew up in this same environment with her siblings. She was in 1991 on the 13th May. However, when she was 10 years old she changed her location to Pretoria. Where she finished her high school. Kayise says her mother, is her greatest inspiration to her, encouraged her in her early life. [1]

Kayise Ngqula attended Glenn High School In Pretoria, and she graduated in 2008. It is not known if she has continued her education after this.
Personal Life
Kayise Ngqula was married to the love of her life, Farai Sibandi, in August 2018. They lived happily but for a short period. In July of the following year (2019), she lost her husband to a road accident on Sandton road. Since then, she hasnt gotten herself a new boyfriend. [2]

The following year she had a recurring guest role as Zandile’s (Matshepo Maleme) sister in the SABC1 soapie Skeem Saam. Thus making her first appearance in Season 8, Episode 61 (which aired on 30 September).
Moreover, she also played the recurring role of a sister wife on the 1Magic drama series iThemba. On which she made her first appearance in the series premiere on 5 October, 2019. [3]
Recent years
Kayise has been in a myriad of roles, so you might not remember her initial roles. But recently in 2020 she played the recurring role of Beauty on the second season of the Mzansi Magic drama series Housekeepers. Which made her first appearance in the Season 2 premiere. The season aired on 15 June, 2020.
Later that year she landed another recurring role, this time as Sister Palesa on the SABC1 miniseries Amazing Grace, making her first appearance in the series premiere on 1 December, 2020.
Furthermore, in 2020/2021 Kayise hosted the Moja Love reality show Bring Back My Smile. Which was set to help people with their dental problems with a view to boosting their self confidence. It premiered in December 2020.
Moreover, in 2021 she began with the recurring role of Nelisiwe on the BET Africa telenovela Isono. Her first appearance was on 19 January, 2021 (Season 1, Episode 66). Furthermore, she appeared on House of Zwide as Gugu for a brief period.
