Early age of Dillon Windvogel
Dillon Windvogel was born on the 1st of November 1998 in a small town of Belhar in Cape town in the Western Province of South Africa. He was raised in Belhar and his fondest memories is of him ridding his bike around the streets of Belhar. He attended both primary and High school in Cape town until matric. Dillon was the naughtiest child of his parest and his mother suggested that his father who had history of Karate teaches him karate for the sake of building self displine, respect and love in the younger Dillon.
His father didn’t teach Dillon alone but his brother, sister and his two cousins. After that he taught countless students in the surrrounding community who progressed to become multiple World Champions. According his Father, Dillon is also a multi-National Champion in Karate.

Dillon developed interest in acting when he was still in grade 7 when he participated in a school play of Cinderella. According to Dillon he enjoyed performing in that play though it was by accident, but at least he got to see his other side and talent. When reached high school he joined drama classes and his drama teacher helped him to get the auditions for blood and water.

Dillon began acting at school where he learnt theatre arts. In 2016 while he was in grade 12, he made his television debut on the show Danz. He was not really sure about acting until he was encouraged to persue acting by his teachers and it paid off after all. In the blockbuster series of Blood and Water he played the role of Wade, Puleng’s sidekick and he is the son of the headmistress of Parkhurst college.
He also appeared on Bhai’s Cafe, kykNET & kie soapie Arendsvlei, and Riding with Sugar. In 2018 he played the role of Mitch in the Anton du Preez short film Mr the Fastest, a comedy-drama set in a small town about an ex-car racer who must confront his past and face a new challenger in order to stop his daughter from going down the same path he did. ¹

Dillon is a Boer or colored who speaks Afrikaans as a first language but he speaks english fluently as well.
