Cebolenkosi Mthembu is a South African actor best known for his role as Detective Nyawo on the SABC1 soapie Uzalo. He is also an electrician, a singer and a radio presenter on Durban community station Imbokodo FM. His first appearance on Uzalo was in December 2016, during the second season of the show. His character, initially “police officer”, was expanded over the ensuing seasons. Prior to his role on Uzalo, Cebo starred in the Mzansi Magic Original movie Umcebo Wegazi, which first aired on Mzansi Magic on 7 June, 2014.

According to the actress, they started dating in February. And on Monday, June 14, Uzalos star applied for a provisional protection order for alleging that she had stalked and threatened her.

He and his dad were infected with COVID-19 earlier this year and had to quit their jobs for a while. Unfortunately, his dad lost the fight and died in January.

“I was diagnosed with Covid-19 earlier this year. So did my dad. He died on January 3. After self-quarantine, I was released from Covid, so I worked. “I’m back,” he said in an interview with Daily Sun.
