Subsequent to finishing his studies in 2005, Mbambo stars in Mbongeni Ngema’s theatrical, Bhambatha playing the character ‘Prexley Ka Seme’. Three years down the line he stars as a dancer on Sarafina’s Nigeria tour. This sees him starring in Shosholoza the Musical playing the character of ‘Bafoza’ which tours (Playhouse/Grahamstown Festival/State Theater) in 2009.

We have aforementioned that the actor is also a dancer. And his electric dance moves landed him a feature in Mbongeni Ngema’s Stimela SaseZola. As a dancer in 2011. Two years later, Mbambo starred in a theatrical titled ‘Long Way To Go’ which tours (State Theater /Playhouse Dbn). Joining the 4men cast of Soweto Entsha he toured France in 2011 and it is during this year that he joins 1KZNTV as a presenter for a sport show ‘Wozo dlala’. This TV gig sees doors of opportunity swinging open for the Television industry freshmen.

Mbambo’s first TV opportunity was to feature in a movie called ‘Bad Throw’. In which he took on the role of a gambler in 2013.
